Absolution.

Lord, do not let bitterness,
Take root inside of me,
Heal my broken, hurting heart,
Open my eyes to see,

Do not let my heart be hard,
Help me to forgive,
Teach me how to love again,
So I can truly live,

I do not want to let the past,
Define who I will be,
Lord, please help me to let go,
And let myself be free,
